Relationship-based lending app Zirtue has won the $100,000 top prize at Money20/20’s new startup pitch competition, ‘America’s Got Access.’
Hundreds of startups applied to participate in this competition, aimed at showcasing fintech companies that address challenges related to financial inclusion, financial health, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the fintech sector.
Ultimately, nine finalists presented their pitches to a panel of judges on the main stage in Las Vegas, competing for a free pass to Money20/20, an uncapped SAFE investment of $100,000, and an opportunity to join the Commerce Ventures portfolio.
Zirtue emerged as the winner, while a surprise audience vote awarded a second $100,000 prize to Remynt, a startup that helps consumers manage debt while rebuilding their credit.
Dan Rosen, founding partner of Commerce Ventures, remarked, “It’s clear that all these founders possess the passion, focus, and expertise to build exciting businesses with an enormous, positive impact, and I look forward to working with Zirtue and Remynt as they grow their companies.”
