Payments provider equensWorldline has partnered with Berlin-based fintech ecolytiq to empower European banks in delivering environmental footprint data to their customers.
Ecolytiq’s innovative “Sustainability-as-a-Service” model leverages payment transaction data to encourage banking clients to better understand their CO2 emissions and foster positive behavioral changes. This collaboration aims to enhance the carbon footprint calculation service through equensWorldline’s extensive Open Banking platform, which connects to data from over 3,000 banks across 18 European countries.
