Turkish Payment Platform Craftgate Secures £1 Million Investment

Istanbul-based payments orchestration platform Craftgate has received a $1 million investment from the Turkish e-commerce platform Hepsiburada and UK venture capital firm D4 Ventures.

Craftgate enables e-commerce companies to integrate and manage the virtual POS of all banks, payment, and e-money institutions from a single platform. The company offers a comprehensive toolkit that includes features such as virtual POS payment and e-money integration, smart and dynamic payment routing, card storage, one-click payments, recurring payments, a closed-loop wallet, and payment via links and QR codes, among others.

Craftgate CEO Hakan Erdoğan stated, “We are growing rapidly day by day with the support of our investors, such as Hepsiburada and D4 Ventures, who believe in our payment systems experience and product. We aim to expand globally, and I believe this partnership will further strengthen our position.”

In June of last year, Craftgate raised £2 million in seed funding, with contributions from local VC firms APY Ventures, Boğaziçi Ventures, and Ak Portfoy.
