Turkish digital investment bank BankPozitif has partnered with Swiss blockchain startup Taurus to enhance its foray into the cryptocurrency market.
The collaboration involves the implementation of Taurus’ digital asset custody platform, which supports cryptocurrencies, tokenized assets, and digital currencies in various configurations including hot, warm, and cold storage. Additionally, BankPozitif will utilize Taurus’ blockchain node and indexing infrastructure, providing connectivity to both public and permissioned blockchains.
This partnership comes at a time when Turkish authorities are advancing regulatory frameworks for digital assets, an initiative that BankPozitif anticipates will create new opportunities for early adopters. Erkan Kork, the chairman of BankPozitif, stated, “By implementing Taurus’ cutting-edge infrastructure, we’re positioning BankPozitif to meet growing institutional demand for digital asset services.”
