Temenos has unveiled a groundbreaking GenAI co-pilot for its retail banking core product, designed to expedite the testing and launch of new financial offerings.
This innovative co-pilot offers a conversational interface tailored for product, IT, and customer service managers, facilitating easy access to core platform data and capabilities essential for the design and deployment of retail banking products.
Product managers can leverage built-in user agents or engage through familiar platforms such as Microsoft Teams to streamline the processes of building, testing, and launching new products. Additionally, the GenAI tool empowers users to extract business insights without the need for complex queries based on core banking data.
Christine Huberty, Deputy CIO at Banque Internationale à Luxembourg and an early user of the platform, expressed enthusiasm about the new features: “We’re thrilled with the capabilities of Temenos Product Manager Copilot. The conversational interface simplifies access to crucial banking data and functionalities, enabling our staff to operate more efficiently and introduce products to market more swiftly.”
Barb Morgan, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Temenos, emphasized the urgency for banks to innovate rapidly: “As fintech companies and neobanks can roll out new products within weeks, it is essential for traditional banks to enhance their innovation efforts or risk becoming obsolete in a competitive environment.”
The GenAI co-pilot is slated for general release in the fourth quarter of 2025.
