A new educational investment platform for UK teens, called tendy, is partnering with WealthKernel to enhance its investing services. Scheduled to launch next year, the app will feature an educational platform that incorporates Duolingo-style learning activities focused on improving financial literacy.
Teens will be able to discover stocks they wish to invest in and send requests to their parents for approval to make purchases. Tendy will leverage WealthKernel’s comprehensive investing infrastructure, which includes trading and custody services, fractional stocks and ETFs, client onboarding, and various account types.
Jamie Collie, CEO of tendy, stated, “Our mission is to bring responsible investing to the next generation. WealthKernel was the natural choice for us given their stellar reputation for powering disruptive fintech platforms.”
