Global fintech SumUp has unveiled a range of new product features aimed at supporting small businesses during the company’s annual event.
The announcement highlighted updates to SumUp’s services for small merchants. The SumUp business account will now include digital cards and the option to add MasterCard to wallets, enabling users to utilize Tap to Pay across Europe.
Additionally, the SumUp online store, which allows businesses to create a free e-commerce site for selling products, has been enhanced to process and review orders almost instantly. It now features a detailed order analysis and categorization system. Merchants can also offer discount codes and various shipping options to their customers.
New offerings, POS Lite and POS Pro, introduce advanced features for over-the-counter sales and stock management. POS Lite provides Bluetooth and USB cable connections for a seamless checkout experience, while POS Pro displays inventory directly on the checkout screen.
The fintech has also launched a more functional and faster invoice design, as well as a self-service sales kiosk, offering an efficient option for customers.
Anna Kuriakose, Chief Product Officer at SumUp, stated: “As the cost of living and inflation continues to impact businesses of all sizes, we are dedicated to helping our customers succeed by providing an integrated ecosystem of products that work together to be more than the sum of their parts.”
