Sugi, a newly launched app, allows users to assess the carbon footprint of their investments, now available in a public beta version in the UK.
Designed specifically for retail investors, this free app presents the annual carbon impact of investments in clear numerical terms. Users can compare their own data with industry averages and carbon metrics for similar investments within the market.
The app features impact information for over 15,000 listed equities—covering approximately 95% of the listed equities market—alongside more than 3,500 exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and select actively managed funds. Plans are underway to expand the range of available funds and enhance environmental data in the near future.
Through Moneyhub’s Open Finance API, users can seamlessly connect their investment portfolios, including ISAs and SIPPs, to Sugi, granting them personalized impact insights.
Josh Gregory, CEO and founder of Sugi, remarked, “Collaborating with Moneyhub provides our users with unprecedented access to all their investment data in one platform. By offering straightforward, objective information, Sugi seeks to simplify green investing, making it more understandable and accessible for everyone.”
