Stripe is exploring the integration of NEC’s face recognition technology into its POS terminal for in-person payments.
On display at the Singapore Fintech Festival, the two companies aim to combine Stripe’s payment terminals and services with NEC’s face recognition technology to create secure and convenient hands-free payment options at checkout.
Available in 25 countries, the Stripe Terminal allows for integrated in-store and online payments, providing merchants with real-time customer insights through a unified dashboard.
