The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), in partnership with Bloomberg, has established a ‘Fin Lab’ aimed at cultivating the future generation of capital markets experts.
Equipped with a range of market data and analytical tools provided by Bloomberg, the Fin Lab has collaborated with eight universities in Thailand to offer finance students practical experience in financial markets trading.
SET President Pakorn Peetathawatchai states, “Given the rapid technological advancements and emerging financial innovations, professionals in the capital market, including those aspiring to enter the field, must continuously develop and refine their skills. The ‘SET Fin Lab’ is designed to inspire learning through hands-on exercises.”
Participants in the program will have access to ongoing education through professional training and workshops organized by Bloomberg. Peetathawatchai emphasizes that the primary goal of the Lab is to broaden access for all capital markets professionals, enabling them to enhance their skills in new and evolving technologies.
