Ratings and analytics provider S&P Global has partnered with Accenture to train its workforce of 35,000 employees in generative AI.
S&P Global employees will participate in a comprehensive generative AI learning program starting this month to acquire the necessary skills to leverage this transformative technology. The program will utilize Accenture LearnVantage services, which include curated and customized content.
Bhavesh Dayalji, Chief AI Officer at S&P Global, stated, “AI is for everyone, and at S&P Global, we want to empower our people and our customers to adopt, build and innovate with generative AI. This technology will continue to transform the financial services industry, enhancing both our daily operations and customer interactions.”
The collaboration will also focus on AI development and benchmarking across the financial services sector. This partnership combines Accenture’s Foundation Model Services—designed to help companies manage and scale large language models—with S&P’s AI Benchmarks.
Generative AI has rapidly become essential in the financial services industry. In an April letter to shareholders, JPMorgan’s Jamie Dimon compared the impact of this technology to that of the printing press and the steam engine.
A recent survey from FintechOS revealed that nearly 75% of financial services executives believe they could eventually be replaced by generative AI.
