Opensee Secures €11M to Enhance Real-Time Data Analytics Platform

Opensee, a Paris-based platform specializing in real-time granular data analysis for financial institutions, has successfully secured €11 million in a Series A funding round led by Omnes Capital. The round also saw participation from Laurion Capital and Société Générale Ventures.

With these new resources, Opensee intends to expand its presence in North America and Southeast Asia, while also enhancing its team, which currently consists of 70 members. The company highlights that recent regulatory shifts have significantly increased the data requirements for financial institutions—by as much as tenfold.

To tackle the growing data challenges, Opensee is developing a robust and scalable platform that facilitates the real-time access of extensive datasets, irrespective of size. This technology empowers users in risk, finance, and front office roles to perform both simple and complex calculations, integrating analytics for various applications including risk management, regulatory reporting, trading decisions, and ESG analysis.

Prominent financial entities, including Tier One banks like SocGen, along with asset managers, hedge funds, and brokers, are already leveraging Opensee’s platform. Additionally, the company has launched a fully-managed cloud SaaS solution to broaden its user base.

Stephane Rio, CEO of Opensee, stated, “Our aim is to empower more financial institutions to harness the valuable business and risk intelligence embedded within their data.”
