OneID Secures New Investment from ACF Investors

OneID, the sole provider of bank-verified digital identification services in the UK, has secured new funding led by ACF Investors.

OneID is recognized as one of the top angel-funded businesses globally, having raised over £16 million from more than 200 angel investors across the UK, Sweden, and the US. The specific amount of investment from ACF has not been revealed.

As the only UK identity service with access to bank-verified data, approximately 50 million UK adults can utilize OneID for real-time verification. The service requires no registration, does not store personal data, and eliminates the need for passport scans or selfies for online identity authentication.

This funding comes after a successful period of growth and the implementation of the company’s technology with an expanding customer base, which includes notable names like NatWest and Adobe.

Paula Sussex, CEO of OneID, stated that the company will use the new capital to enhance its product offerings, expand operations into new market sectors, and serve both new and existing customers.

“At OneID, our goal is to make the world safer by streamlining digital identity verification for businesses and users,” she remarked. “We’ve had a remarkable year in 2024 with various use cases. With our integration with Adobe set to launch with leading high-street banks in the UK, we are demonstrating our capability to address urgent business challenges against the most stringent standard-setters.”
