Nvidia Invests £2 Billion in UK AI Ecosystem, Supporting Revolut and Nscale

Nvidia Corp has committed £2 billion to support AI innovation and development in the UK, targeting investments in AI companies, fintech firms, and startups.

According to a report by Bloomberg, the technology giant aims to establish the UK as a leading AI hub and is funding research in AI and supercomputing.

Beneficiaries of Nvidia’s investment include Revolut, as well as a £500 million stake in both AI datacentre Nscale and self-driving startup Wayve. Other recipients are PolyAI, Synthesia, Latent Labs, and Basecamp Research.

The investments were facilitated by venture capital firms such as Accel, Balderton Capital, Hoxton Ventures, Phoenix Court, and Air Street Capital.

This announcement was made in London, where Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and US President Donald Trump were in attendance at the Windsor Castle state banquet. The initiative aligns with the UK government’s commitments to enhance AI growth and technology development.

In June 2025, Nvidia partnered with Microsoft to support the Barclays London innovation hub.
