Nationwide Building Society has transitioned its on-premises IT infrastructure to the HPE GreenLake Cloud, marking a significant step in its digital transformation journey.
By leveraging HPE GreenLake Management Services, Nationwide’s IT department is set to enhance infrastructure management through automation and orchestration, simultaneously implementing infrastructure as code. This strategic move will allow the organization to concentrate on innovation while improving control over application development and security measures.
The new cloud solution promises to shorten release cycles, facilitating quicker time-to-market for new services. Additionally, it ensures that appropriate controls are established to manage risk, safeguard customer information, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Furthermore, the adoption of HPE GreenLake enables efficient monitoring of resource consumption, allowing Nationwide to pay only for the capacity utilized. This approach aligns with their goal of reducing IT costs by at least 30%.
Paul Walsh, Director of Infrastructure and Service Delivery at Nationwide, commented, “HPE GreenLake Cloud is a fundamental aspect of our hybrid cloud strategy. Together, we are developing a cloud platform that enhances our resilience and agility, enabling us to deliver superior service levels and faster capabilities for our developers.”
