Lloyds Bank, a prominent UK high street institution, has appointed Natasha Sayce-Zelem as the new director of digital and business platforms within its restructured mortgage division.
Based in Leeds, Sayce-Zelem will report directly to Andrew Asaam, the bank’s mortgage director. In her new role, she is tasked with “reimagining and digitizing” the mortgage process, aiming to enhance the customer experience across Lloyds’ various brands and channels.
Prior to joining Lloyds, Sayce-Zelem served as the global head of partner engineering for Amazon’s Prime Video division. Her career also includes a notable five-year tenure at Sky, where she contributed to the establishment of the company’s digital hub in Leeds. Additionally, she held a position at the BBC, overseeing the digital transformation of the channel’s online sports offerings.
Beyond her professional achievements, Sayce-Zelem founded the Empowering Women with Tech initiative, which seeks to make STEM education more accessible to young women.
Commenting on her new role, Sayce-Zelem expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “Anyone who has been through the process of buying a home knows how unwieldy and complicated it can feel. Leading a team dedicated to simplifying and enhancing that experience for millions of mortgage customers is an opportunity I am eager to embrace.”
