Kasisto, a leading developer of conversational AI chatbots, has unveiled KAI-GPT, the first large language model specifically tailored for the banking sector.
According to Kasisto, this innovative model harnesses the power of generative AI, enabling banks to engage in human-like interactions that are both rapid and expansive.
The initial application leveraging KAI-GPT is KAI Answers, a sophisticated conversational response system designed to assist bankers in locating, interpreting, and understanding information from various sources. These sources include policies, regulatory documents, procedures, web content, and intricate financial products.
Westpac, the prominent Australian bank, which is both an investor and client of Kasisto, is already in the process of implementing KAI Answers. David Walker, Westpac’s Chief Technology Officer, remarked, “While there has been extensive discussion around the future of generative AI in banking, Kasisto has demonstrated its practical application in the sector today.”
What sets Kasisto apart is that KAI-GPT is specifically engineered for the banking industry, ensuring enhanced accuracy, safety, and intuitiveness while delivering conversational experiences reminiscent of ChatGPT.
