Kasheesh Launches Platform for Dividing Online Payments Between Multiple Cards

US-based startup Kasheesh has introduced a complimentary digital platform designed to enable users to split their online purchase payments across various credit, debit, and gift cards.

The company has secured $5.5 million in funding from Tribe Capital, Anthemis, Courtside Ventures, as well as individual investors, including NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. and actress Robin Wright.

Kasheesh’s web-based browser extension offers several advantages for American online shoppers: it alleviates the financial strain on individual payment methods, supports the enhancement of credit scores and rewards, and enhances privacy by generating a unique encrypted card number for each transaction.

Users can upload up to ten cards to the extension, which utilizes proprietary AI to recommend the optimal card combination for each purchase. To ensure security, Kasheesh collaborates with Stripe and Plaid for user identity and funds verification while maintaining customer confidentiality throughout the process.

CEO Sam Miller emphasizes the innovation behind the platform: “Consumers are accustomed to using a single payment method for their transactions, whether a card or a buy now, pay later option. This often leads to a significant financial burden and minimal personalization.”

He adds, “Kasheesh empowers users by leveraging their existing financial resources rather than incurring additional debt. We aim to maximize rewards instead of overextending credit limits.”
