JPMorgan Chase is set to discontinue its Nutmeg digital wealth management brand in the UK, transitioning instead to JP Morgan Personal Investing.
Beginning in November, JP Morgan Personal Investing will be accessible through the Chase UK app as well as a standalone platform. This new offering will include Nutmeg’s existing products, such as pensions, ISAs, and managed investments, alongside innovative features like digital financial planning tools and dedicated relationship managers.
Additionally, a DIY investment platform is scheduled to launch in 2026, empowering users to trade shares, bonds, funds, and other assets at their convenience.
In 2021, JPMorgan acquired Nutmeg in a deal estimated at approximately £700 million. The platform currently serves around 265,000 customers, managing assets totaling £8.5 billion.
Mark O’Donovan, the Chief Executive of International Consumer Banking at JPMorgan Chase, noted, “UK consumers are leaders in adopting digital financial services. Today marks a significant advancement in our UK offerings, utilizing JPMorgan’s expertise and legacy to deliver outstanding investment products and services.”
