Investment Social Network Yeekatee Secures $1.9M in Funding

Investing social network Yeekatee has successfully raised $1.9 million in a pre-seed funding round, with participation from Avaloq co-founder Ronald Strässler.

Targeting both seasoned investors and newcomers, Yeekatee’s free app offers a variety of features, including near-real-time watchlists, portfolio linking, aggregation, sharing capabilities, and community discussions.

The platform will provide market insights and investing tutorials from community experts as well as institutional partners, including banks, brokers, and asset managers. These partners also have the opportunity to use Yeekatee as a communication channel to engage with their clients.

The funds raised will be allocated towards hiring talent and launching the app, with plans to roll out access to users in Switzerland by April and expand to the rest of Europe in 2024.

Didier Matthey, co-founder of Yeekatee, states, “We believe Yeekatee will change the future of investing and the way people engage with investing topics and activities. We can’t wait to see the impact it has on our users.”
