Half of Klarna’s Workforce Adopts ChatGPT Enterprise

Klarna has emerged as a pioneer in adopting OpenAI’s enterprise version of ChatGPT, with approximately half of its workforce now utilizing this innovative technology.

The company was among the first to implement generative AI following the release of ChatGPT, developing a plugin aimed at providing personalized product recommendations for shoppers.

Currently, Klarna is leveraging ChatGPT Enterprise, which offers enhanced speeds, improved availability, and robust data security for internal operations. About 2,500 employees are now accessing the API, applying the technology across a diverse range of applications, including AI-driven shopping recommendations and optimizing customer service processes.

CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski is committed to broadening the technology’s use within the organization. He stated, “I am closely monitoring how many of our employees are actively engaging with their OpenAI accounts. Presently, 2,500 out of 5,000 employees are utilizing it. While we encourage everyone to explore and maximize this incredible technology, only 50 percent use it daily. We must discover innovative ways to increase adoption of OpenAI’s remarkable tools.”
