Sustainability data and technology provider ESG Book has successfully secured $35 million in a Series B funding round, led by Energy Impact Partners.
ESG Book’s cloud-based platform focuses on making environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data accessible, consistent, and transparent. This enables financial markets to channel capital into more sustainable and impactful assets. The platform covers over 25,000 companies worldwide, empowering firms to manage their own data while offering framework-neutral sustainability information in real-time, thus enhancing transparency.
With the ESG data and services market projected to reach $5 billion globally by 2025, the Series B investment will support the expansion of ESG Book’s data platform and the development of new product offerings.
According to CEO Daniel Klier, “Investors, companies, and all market participants are increasingly demanding advanced technology solutions to guide capital towards more sustainable and impactful assets. ESG Book is revolutionizing the integration and measurement of sustainability on a global scale by leveraging next-generation technology that ensures ESG data is accessible, comparable, and transparent.”
