Edda Secures Funding for a Bloomberg Terminal Focused on Private Markets

Edda, a French company focused on creating collaborative software for professional investors, has successfully raised $5.8 million in funding.

Previously known as Kushim VC, Edda aims to develop the Bloomberg terminal for private markets, enabling investors to move away from using Excel. The platform integrates deal flow, portfolio management, limited partner (LP) engagement, and business community management into a single product. Edda has already partnered with over 100 investment firms, overseeing more than $22 billion in assets.

Clément Aglietta, CEO of Edda, commented, “Despite the unparalleled growth in private markets and investments in innovative technologies, the tools available for managing these assets remain outdated. Edda has been designed to elevate the investment in alternative assets by connecting the ecosystem to maximize value beyond just financial returns.”
