DoorDash has partnered with Klarna to offer customers the option to pay for food delivery orders in instalments.
US customers can now choose to pay in full, in four equal payments, or schedule payment for a later date that aligns with their paychecks. DoorDash emphasizes that this payment method extends beyond food delivery, covering groceries, high-end electronics, home improvement supplies, beauty products, and the company’s annual membership plan.
David Sykes, Klarna’s chief commercial officer, highlighted that this partnership represents a significant step in Klarna’s mission to expand into everyday spending categories.
This collaboration is a notable achievement for Klarna, following its recent IPO application and partnership with Walmart.
