Deutsche Bank has entered into a multi-year partnership with NVIDIA aimed at advancing the application of artificial intelligence in financial services.
This collaboration will leverage NVIDIA’s AI Enterprise, a comprehensive software suite capable of operating in both cloud environments and on-premises data centers. The two organizations plan to explore a range of applications across Deutsche Bank’s operations, initially concentrating on three key areas: development of risk models, high-performance computing, and the creation of a branded virtual avatar.
The bank’s teams have already conceptualized a 3D virtual avatar designed to assist employees in navigating internal systems and addressing HR inquiries. Future applications may also include immersive experiences tailored for banking clients.
Additionally, the partnership is testing a series of large language models known as Financial Transformers. These models will enhance AI and machine learning capabilities to address issues like detecting early warning signals in financial transactions, accelerating data retrieval, and identifying data quality concerns.
Christian Sewing, CEO of Deutsche Bank, remarked, “AI, ML, and data will revolutionize banking, and our collaboration with NVIDIA underscores our commitment to redefining possibilities for our clients.”
