Customers Fume Over HSBC Outage

HSBC is currently addressing significant issues with its mobile and online banking platforms, causing customers to experience error notifications, delayed payments, and discrepancies in account details.

Reports indicate that the bank’s services experienced a crash early in the morning, resulting in a variety of complications related to transactions and account access. Some users encountered an ERR03 error when attempting to log in, while others faced messages stating, “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again.”

Both HSBC and its associated brand, First Direct, have been affected by these ongoing outages, which persisted into the early afternoon as noted in updates on social media.

In a service update at 12:45 PM, First Direct acknowledged the issues, apologizing for the inconvenience and emphasizing that their teams were actively working to resolve the problems.

Later, another update posted at 3:15 PM indicated that services were beginning to recover, with continued monitoring in place. The bank also expressed gratitude for customers’ patience during this challenging time.
