CaixaBank has announced an ambitious investment of over $5 billion in technology over the next three years, aimed at enhancing digital sales and introducing new products and services.
The bank intends to leverage generative artificial intelligence to improve its commercial and service capabilities, while also upgrading its channels and infrastructure to bolster its overall resilience.

Recognizing the importance of attracting and retaining top talent, the bank aims to cultivate a culture emphasizing proximity, agility, and collaboration while blending seasoned expertise with youthful innovation. As part of this strategy, CaixaBank plans to hire 3,000 young professionals with a strong emphasis on technical skills from 2025 to 2027.
CEO Gonzalo Gortázar stated, “In the next three years, we aim to leverage a more favorable economic landscape to significantly enhance our service quality, technological capabilities, and the development of our workforce’s talent.
