BNP Paribas Launches UK Fintech Incubator Program Focused on AI

BNP Paribas Personal Finance is launching its third consecutive UK Fintech incubator program, aimed at identifying startups with generative AI applications relevant to the financial services sector.

Businesses participating in the program will receive extensive support, including access to a flexible co-working space and innovation tools from STEAMhouse, mentorship from seasoned financial services professionals, opportunities to pitch their propositions, and tailored one-on-one assistance.

The most promising applications will be tested in a commercial environment with 100,000 users registered on BNP Paribas’ myCreation app. Last year, the bank selected four startups—Furbnow, CarCloud, Inicio, and Paylow— to pilot their solutions with customers.

Stephen Hunt, CEO of BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK, stated, “To maintain our leadership in personal finance, it’s crucial to embrace emerging technologies and new concepts, ensuring we deliver high-quality products and services for our partners and customers. The rise of AI presents an opportunity we must leverage to enhance our operations.”

The application deadline is September 5.
