Berlin Startup Integral Secures €6.3 Million in Funding

Integral, a Berlin-based startup specializing in accounting, taxation, and payroll services for SMEs, has successfully raised €6.3 million in a funding round led by General Catalyst and Cherry Ventures, with additional participation from Puzzle Ventures and various European entrepreneurs.

With its first product launch supported by this funding, Integral aims to serve German SMEs within the professional services sector. The company was co-founded by Lukas Zörner, previously a founder of Penta and the head of Qonto in Germany, along with technical lead Anil Baykal.

Zörner emphasizes the challenges of traditional self-service software solutions, which demand significant time and effort from SMEs—time that could be better spent focusing on business growth. “We want to be the trusted partner for SMEs as they harness the power of AI to streamline operations, making them faster and smarter. Our goal is to build a platform that allows SMEs to completely outsource these services,” he explains.

Integral’s product offerings include a central collaboration and communication platform integrated with a partner tax advisor, direct connections to customers’ financial tools, and AI solutions tailored for both SMEs and advisors.

Zörner adds that the funding will be used to further develop the product in close collaboration with customers and to build an experienced, dedicated team in Berlin.
