AI insights company Behavox has acquired Mosaic Smart Data, a vendor specializing in helping financial institutions derive actionable intelligence from transaction data. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Mosaic Smart Data’s software improves liquidity discovery and decision-making in the Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) markets. It aggregates transaction data from both internal and external sources, normalizing it and utilizing AI models to extract valuable insights.
The technology is utilized by global capital markets institutions across five continents, with notable clients including JPMorgan and ING.
Initially, Behavox focused on using AI to monitor employee behavior at financial services firms. Over time, it has expanded its offerings to include regulatory archiving and an AI-powered knowledge and policy management system.
Mosaic’s technology will play a role in a trade surveillance solution that is currently undergoing customer testing and is expected to be released later this year.
Behavox CEO Erkin Adylov expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome the Mosaic Smart Data team to Behavox and excited about the enhanced capabilities our integrated offering will deliver to customers.”
