Alipay Introduces New Merchant Payment Toolkit

At the Singapore Fintech Festival, Angel Zhao, president of international business at Ant Group, announced the launch of Alipay+ D-storeTM, a digitalisation solution designed for brick-and-mortar businesses in the service industry.

Alipay+ D-storeTM offers a comprehensive toolkit for merchants to digitalise payments, streamline operations, enhance services, and improve marketing efforts, thereby unlocking new revenue opportunities and delivering better consumer experiences. Businesses can create digital stores on various platforms through mini programmes.

These digital stores can also be crafted as H5 pages and easily integrated into social media and online channels to reach a wider audience. Notable digital platforms currently collaborating with Alipay+ D-storeTM include Chope, Alipay, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, and AlipayHK.

The solution has already been adopted by several well-known brands, including Burger King, Koufu—one of Singapore’s leading operators and managers of food courts and coffee shops—and over 2,000 local restaurants, cafes, and eateries across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and other markets.

During the festival, Alipay+ D-storeTM introduced its latest client, Huggs Coffee, one of Singapore’s largest homegrown café chains with more than 20 outlets. Huggs Coffee aims to collaborate with Alipay+ D-storeTM to enhance its digital presence and operational efficiency, providing customers with seamless services via its digital store on Chope and other platforms in the future.
