ABN Amro Aims to Attract Young Customers with Launch of New Neobank

The team behind ABN Amro’s Tikkie payments app is launching a full-service neobank aimed at young people.

Set to debut later this year, Buut has been “developed entirely around the world as young people experience it,” according to ABN Amro. Built from the ground up in just 12 months by the creators of the popular Tikkie app, which boasts millions of users, Buut offers a fresh approach to banking.

Annerie Vreugdenhil, Chief Commercial Officer for personal and business banking at ABN Amro, emphasizes that Buut is “easy to use, interactive, 100% visually driven, and tailored for the new generation.” She asserts, “Buut is everything you expect from a bank, but designed to tick a different box.”
