German insurance provider Allianz has appointed Mansoor Reehana as its inaugural Head of Artificial Intelligence. This newly established position will lead the organization’s AI strategy.
Reehana is tasked with overseeing the strategy, architecture, and product delivery for various AI initiatives, including the deployment of enterprise-scale AI and machine learning platforms. Since joining Allianz UK in May 2023 as a Data Science Manager, he has played a crucial role in the company’s AI advancements, particularly in facilitating the design and transition to AI platforms and implementing generative AI technologies.
Allianz UK’s COO, Fergal Coburn, expressed enthusiasm for Reehana’s appointment, stating he looks forward to collaborating as they harness artificial intelligence to generate significant benefits for the company, its partners, and customers.
