Crypto exchange Kraken has expanded its capabilities by acquiring Capitalise.ai, a renowned Israeli firm that specializes in no-code, natural-language trading and analytical tools.
Established in 2015, Capitalise.ai has developed an innovative platform that converts everyday language into executable trading strategies. Its advanced language model and big data infrastructure support the analysis of both real-time and historical data across various markets, including equities, cryptocurrency, forex, futures, and options.
The integration of Capitalise.ai’s features into the Kraken Pro trading application is slated to commence later this year. This will empower users from diverse backgrounds to create, test, and automate complex trading strategies using straightforward, conversational terms.
Shannon Kurtas, head of exchange at Kraken, stated, “This acquisition provides Kraken Pro clients with a powerful new tool to act on their trading ideas in real-time, enabling them to test, optimize, and execute customized strategies with unmatched speed and confidence. Capitalise.ai’s technology fundamentally reshapes how individuals engage with financial data, effectively breaking down barriers that have historically restricted advanced strategies to a select few. This marks a significant advancement in democratizing access to professional-grade trading tools.”
The acquisition will also see Capitalise.ai’s co-founders, Amir Shiovich (CEO) and Shahar Rabin (CPO), along with key personnel from product and engineering, integrate into the Kraken team.
The financial details of this transaction have not been disclosed.
