United Fintech Names Rupsa Mukherjee as Head of M&A

United Fintech, a conglomerate focused on acquiring leading vendors in capital markets, wealth management, and wholesale banking, is poised for an upcoming wave of mergers and acquisitions. The company has appointed Rupsa Mukherjee, formerly of Deutsche Bank, as the head of its M&A operations.

Mukherjee brings over 13 years of experience in corporate finance and investment banking, having worked in the UK, US, and India. Her impressive background includes tenures at Goldman Sachs and Caterpillar, and she most recently functioned as a vice president within Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking division in London and New York. In this role, she advised on M&A transactions exceeding $20 billion.

In her new position at United Fintech, Mukherjee will focus on identifying promising companies, leading acquisition strategies, and structuring transactions that are favorable to founders.

United Fintech’s current acquisitions include Cobalt, FairXchange, TTMZero, Athena Systems, NetDania, and the recent addition of core banking vendor CBA.

Mukherjee expressed enthusiasm for her new role, stating, “The chance to assist in scaling a platform that is transforming the financial services technology landscape is incredibly thrilling. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with founders, investors, and banks to create lasting value through strategic growth.”

Her appointment comes on the heels of several significant leadership additions in 2025, including the hiring of Chief Operating Officer Deepak Nair and Chief People Officer Anders Johansen.
