UK-based Atom Bank has announced significant changes to its senior technology leadership team, introducing a chief of staff and a new AI and data science team.
These changes aim to accelerate product launches and enhance delivery capabilities, coinciding with the upcoming release of several new savings products.
The restructuring includes nine promotions focused on service delivery. Key appointments include Ges Richmond as head of lending delivery, Orla Codyre as head of savings delivery, and Kath Langlands as head of platform and enterprise delivery.
Additionally, four senior technology roles have been filled: Rob Smith will serve as head of engineering, Rob Butcher as head of architecture, Faizah Rafique as head of business analysis, and James Kerruish as CISO and head of service.
Leanne Judge has been appointed as chief of staff, focusing on improving the effectiveness of the technology team. Russell Collingham has also been named head of the newly established AI and data science team.
Chief Technology Officer Andy Sturrock welcomed the appointments, stating that the collective expertise of the new leaders will be essential as the bank increases its velocity and invests in its technology stack to better support the business.
