Frich, a social finance application targeting Gen Z, has introduced an innovative feature called “Frich Scoop,” which leverages AI technology to offer users a glimpse into potential earnings based on Instagram profiles.
With Frich Scoop, users can upload screenshots of LinkedIn or Instagram profiles to obtain a speculative analysis that reveals estimated income, lifestyle expenses, and important financial indicators. This feature utilizes AI image analysis to blend an individual’s professional and personal online presence, generating estimates of annual income, monthly expenditures, and the anticipated time frame for achieving millionaire status. The results are presented in a visually appealing, shareable format reminiscent of Spotify Wrapped.
Frich aims to bridge the gap between the perceptions fostered by social media and reality, hoping to promote healthier discussions around finances. The company emphasizes that it analyzes only publicly available information shared voluntarily on these platforms, with no personal data being stored; all uploaded screenshots are deleted immediately after analysis. “We’re not suggesting we have insights into anyone’s actual financial situation,” explained Frich CEO Katrin Kaurov. “Instead, this tool fosters understanding of how we represent ourselves online and the implications of those representations. Our goal is to provide a fun and informative experience without being invasive.”
