Standard Chartered has enhanced its data analytics capabilities with the recent appointment of Yusuf Demiral, previously an executive at HSBC.
In his new position as the global head of data analytics and AI for the bank’s retail and wealth banking divisions, Demiral will operate out of Singapore. He will report directly to Samir Subberwal, who serves as the global head of wealth solutions, deposits and mortgages, as well as chief client officer.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Demiral held the role of group head of data analytics and customer relationship management within HSBC’s wealth and personal banking segment.
