Sustainable Fintech Tomorrow Secures €14 Million in Funding

German sustainable fintech startup Tomorrow has successfully secured €14 million in funding, with plans to raise an additional €5 million through an upcoming crowdfunding campaign.

The investment round saw participation from the family office of the Hamburg-based Büll family, Abacon Capital, as well as Torben Schreiter, the founder of Signavio and a notable climate tech investor.

Set to launch next month, the crowdfunding initiative will allow the public to invest in digital securities with contributions ranging from €100 to €25,000, reflecting a token-based approach.

Founded in 2018, Tomorrow offers traditional mobile banking services but distinguishes itself by committing to invest customer funds exclusively in sustainable projects, avoiding investments in industries deemed harmful by conventional banks.

The newly acquired funds will facilitate the establishment of a sustainable investment fund dedicated to financing companies and projects that meet rigorous environmental, social, and ethical standards. Furthermore, the company plans to expand its workforce significantly, increasing from 75 to approximately 200 employees over the next year.
