Mastercard is broadening its consulting services with new practices focused on open banking, open data, cryptocurrency, digital currencies, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
For over 20 years, Mastercard has been a leader in consulting, with its Data & Services division amassing a team of over 2,000 data scientists, engineers, and consultants who cater to clients in 70 countries worldwide.
The introduction of these new practices will bolster the Data & Services team by incorporating more than 500 recent college graduates and young professionals. This expansion reflects Mastercard’s significant investments in areas beyond its traditional payment operations, embracing the evolving fintech landscape.
Raj Seshadri, President of Data & Services at Mastercard, states, “Throughout the last two decades, we have collaborated with clients across banking, fintech, retail, travel, and more, assisting them in navigating various challenges and opportunities.
