UK RegTech platform NorthRow has enlisted boutique investment advisory firm Lazarus Consulting to explore growth investment opportunities or a potential full sale of the business.
Founded in 2010 and based in London, NorthRow specializes in providing anti-money laundering, identity, and verification software services to businesses within regulated sectors. The platform consolidates reliable data from a variety of global sources, covering more than 220 jurisdictions and over 13,000 document types.
Having previously secured over £17 million from venture capital investors, NorthRow is transitioning from a sales-driven to a product-led growth strategy to enhance its market presence. To facilitate this shift, the company has appointed advisors to evaluate its strategic options.
Andrew Doyle, executive chair and CEO of NorthRow, stated, “We now want to fast-track our growth, relying more on our state-of-the-art tech platform to help secure new customers at a faster pace. Additionally, we feel that now may well be the right time for a strategic partner to join us on our journey.” He mentioned that preliminary discussions have already begun with various potential domestic and international firms.
