Entrust Takes Over Antelop

Entrust is poised to enter the digital card issuance market through the acquisition of Antelop, a Paris-based company.

Founded in 2014, Antelop Solutions serves over 40 banks across 25 countries. Todd Wilkinson, CEO of Entrust, emphasized the importance of secure and user-friendly digital and physical card payment options for financial institutions. He noted that this merger will provide an unparalleled portfolio of card issuance and transaction security solutions.

The Antelop One Digital Card portfolio allows banks to efficiently deliver and manage virtual cards within customer mobile applications such as Google, Apple, and Samsung, utilizing a single software development kit. This solution encompasses token management, NFC payments, customer authentication, a secure interface, and APIs.

Approximately 30 employees from Antelop, including founder and CEO Nicolas Bruley, will join Entrust as part of the acquisition. The deal is anticipated to close in the coming weeks, although the terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
