Fintech Startup Wyzr Secures £400,000 Investment from NatWest’s Dragon’s Den

Wyzr, a fintech startup focused on developing an AI CFO product for small businesses, has secured £400,000 following a pitch event reminiscent of Dragon’s Den, organized by NatWest.

The Wyzr platform aims to assist SMEs in better understanding their finances by delivering calculations in seconds, ultimately saving time and mitigating cash flow issues.

This funding opportunity arose during NatWest’s Fintech Demo Day, where Wyzr pitched to a room of potential angel investors. The event showcased the top 10 most promising fintech startups from NatWest’s Accelerator programme, allowing them to present their technology to an audience of investors and senior members of the NatWest team.

Wyzr’s collaboration with NatWest began with their business banking services, leading to an invitation to join the bank’s Entrepreneur Accelerator. This initiative offers coaching and access to a modern co-working space in Bishopsgate, London.

Ajit Barik, the founder of Wyzr, remarked, “Our experience with the NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator has been transformative. The support, mentorship, and particularly the networking opportunities provided by the programme have been invaluable in helping us refine our business strategy and successfully prepare for fundraising.”
