Challenger consultancy 11:FS is set to launch a new fintech venture fund and accelerator, led by Jamie Campbell, who previously worked with Bud and founded Fronted.
11:FS plans to leverage its extensive experience in building startups like Starling, Monzo, Tandem, and Nutmeg to support portfolio companies as they progress through the incubator. The team has also partnered with major banks to deliver digital solutions, including initiatives like Mettle with Natwest and Mox and Trust Bank with Standard Chartered.
David Brear, group CEO and co-founder of 11:FS, emphasizes the unique approach of their accelerator: “While most accelerators only offer superficial innovation for big organizations, we focus on connecting with individuals who have genuinely influenced the industry on a global scale, rather than just creating presentations about it.”
Brear also indicates that there is significant interest from a number of major banks in co-investing in the fund.
Commenting on his new role, Campbell states: “Every fintech founder encounters challenges, such as go-to-market strategies, customer acquisition, scaling operations with partners, sourcing technology, understanding market intelligence, navigating regulatory environments, and securing funding. 11:FS VC is where solutions to these challenges converge. Graduates of our program will emerge with significant advantages.”
