Revolut Enhances B2B Focus with Introduction of POS Terminal for Larger Enterprises

Revolut is launching a POS terminal device designed for larger businesses in the UK and Ireland ahead of Black Friday and the bustling holiday shopping season.

The fintech giant is assuring a 99.9% platform uptime to ensure uninterrupted sales through the device, which is available for exclusive pre-sale at a reduced price of £129 + VAT, down from £169 + VAT.

This terminal is fully integrated with Revolut Pay, the fintech’s one-click payment method that allows users to make payments directly from their Revolut account without needing to input card or bank details. Customers who utilize Revolut Pay can earn RevPoints, which can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases. Additionally, merchants benefit from lower fees of 0.5% plus £0.02 per transaction when using Revolut Pay.

The Terminal can be paired with the company’s Point of Sale software, providing merchants with access to analytics, table mapping, multi-location management, and customer catalogues.

This launch comes as Revolut Business achieves annualized revenue exceeding $500 million globally, with the group focused on enhancing its B2B offerings and investing in product innovation.

Alex Codina, general manager of merchant acquiring at Revolut, stated, “We’re excited to be offering Revolut Terminal as an all-in-one, powerful POS solution for our business customers. This launch reflects our commitment to investing in our B2B offerings, particularly focusing on the hospitality and retail sectors.”

While Revolut already provides a card reader and iPhone Tap-to-Pay solutions for smaller businesses and freelancers, the new POS Terminal is specifically targeting larger businesses, positioning itself as a direct competitor to fintechs like Square, Dojo, and SumUp, in addition to traditional banking solutions.
